Simon Says Welsh Ponies is a family-run business based in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Farm owner, Cheryl Amaral-McKee, has been raising and training Welsh Ponies since 1993. As a former U.S. Pony Club member, Cheryl knows first-hand how important a safe and well-trained mount is for children. Whether your child is new to riding, or already a veteran in the show ring, Cheryl’s horsemanship philosophy, training methods, and a gift for matching kids with the right pony, all make Simon Says the ideal place to buy, lease, or learn.

All ponies offered are well mannered and sweet tempered. Conformationally correct and sound, as well as beautiful! In early training these ponies are taught to stand quietly for the Farrier, Veterinarian, clipping, grooming, tacking up, bathing and trailering. Our ponies have lots of experience under tack, both English and Western. They are taught to lunge quietly at the walk and trot, to halt, back and reverse. Once a pony is comfortable with all of the above we move on to more complex under saddle training.
